Ode to the Canna

Of all the lilies in the land the Canna is by far most grand. When planted firm in soil rich with humus under full sun or part shade plenty water you must. When care is ideal this tropical floribunda will reach for the sky near 3 meters high and dwarf all that's under! Petals protrude from budding clusters from Spring through to Autumn they're going "dam busters"! If fab flowers aren't enough there's foliage too in shades green to purple, even bronze hue.
