Happy weekend Perthlings!
Just one more plant-shopping week until we close for the holidays, time is flying by!
A couple of picks of the week attached:
Myoporum Parvifolium Mallee Carpet - a hardy groundcover with a lush green foliage spread. Summer flowering brings a show of small white star-shaped flowers. Likes a full sun position but also part-shade and will establish quickly with regular watering. Great for trailing down rockeries, walls, anywhere you want to camouflage and this hardy little superstar will even withstand light foot traffic once established!
Another hardy groundcover seems appropriate at this time of year when sun and drought tolerance is at the forefront of minds. Rhoeo Spathacea is just gorgeous with its two-tone colouring, it's clumping and spreading growth habit and flexibility of use! Great as a ground-cover for dry areas and rockeries. Suitable as a patio plant in small containers.
Also prefers a full sun to part shade position and is drought hardy when established.
"What of the Elf" I hear you cry!
Well, let me tell you, after last weeks' antics he's been kept closely under the watchful eye of our staff at Jandabup and mostly far, far away from customers...except for one!
One very special, patient and understanding regular customer was enlisted to help with the Elf's customer service skills and we thank him most profusely for being such an incredibly good sport...you know who you are!
Photos and current availability list attached.
Happy planting
